I have no words...
Table got damaged last time the kids turned up so put a notice on it to say it was damaged and not to sit on it, having it repaired on Monday... they read the notice, sat on it anyway, damaged it even more and left a load of rubbish behind even though there is a bin next to the table. So my day off started with cleaning this up. Whose kids are these?

The cafe is closed until 5th January
Because our Christmas lights were vandalised I made the decision to remove all benches until we re-open on the 5th.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has wished me well, sent me their love, offers of help and support, bought me gifts and cards into the cafe, donated money towards amazing bouquets of flowers and chocolates, the out pouring of love has really lifted my spirits at such a miserable, painful time for me.

For those enquiring in the cafe, I broke L1 and L2 in my back, I have a back brace for 16 weeks and immense pain 😢 but I'm ok, got a wonderful bank of people that genuinely care...

Thank you so much for keeping me going everyone, I'll never forget the level of kindness shown to me ❤️❤️❤️

Apologies to all our customers for the cafe being shut today.

I broke my back yesterday and ended up in hospital 😭

Because we are a family run cafe this obviously has affected and upset the whole family, and in true amazing family style they have pulled out all the stops for us to be open again as from tomorrow 😁

Absolutely love all the people who have and are going above and beyond for me ❤️❤️❤️

We have found an elderly lady on the ground opposite the cafe, have called emergency services but was wondering if anyone is missing someone, she's been out all night.

Update....
The lady in question was taken to RUH by ambulance, she had been in the doorway of Dorothy house all night until we found her at 6.30 am. She had some cuts and grazes from falling a couple of times... hopefully she will get sorted and get all the help she needs.
