Fresh local strawberries in a simple homemade sweet strawberry syrup 🍓

The pavlova isn’t overly sweet, giving the perfect balance with the fresh sweet strawberries, this allows all the flavours to not be overpowered, while the double cream is whipped to a soft peak, bringing it all together in your mouth for the ultimate combination of light, creamy, and fruity.

And for a little behind-the-scenes honesty... I let a staff member record and edit the video. Safe to say she’s done me dirty 😂

Sun’s out and I was halfway through this when duty called 🚜🐄

Had to cut it short and race back to the farm to help calf another cow, no rest when the work needs doing.

I was saying “when the sun’s out folks head to the sun…” 🤦‍♂️
Yeah… definitely meant the beach 😅 we’ll call that a blooper (was under pressure) my first farm video 🤠.

Was shaping up to be one of those days to take it easy after a very busy weekend in Holy Smokes BBQ Shack 🔥🍖

But that’s real farm life – plans change quick, and the animals will always come first (especially Teddy Bear) my wee buddy.
