Club 33.3 is a celebration of the album where, each month, a selected LP plays on vinyl, in full. Appropriately, May’s event features Talk Talk’s ‘The Colour of Spring’, the turning point in the band’s shift from synth-pop to a more organic soundscape for their talented, enigmatic songwriter Mark Hollis.

7pm arrival – drinks

7.30pm – record playing begins

Seated evening, listening to a vinyl LP in full followed by a relaxed discussion.

First drink included in the ticket price with a selection of drinks available to purchase after.

Back in Crickhowell and finally got around to trying Book-ish—and what a gem it is 📚✨

A beautiful independent bookshop with its own café, spread across two cosy levels, it’s the kind of place you could easily lose a whole afternoon in ☕️📖 The menu is thoughtfully put together too, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options 🌱 Honestly, everything sounded so good that choosing was the hardest part 🤔

In the end we went for:
🥓 Bacon sandwich – perfectly cooked with an incredible crunch in every bite
🍳 Chorizo & potato hash – fresh, full of flavour, and topped with an egg cooked to perfection
☕️ Vanilla Latte
🍋 Traditional lemonade

We couldn’t fault a thing. Friendly staff, quick service, and really high-quality food and drinks 🙌

Definitely a big thumbs up from us 👍
