Last week, I was invited into the BBC studios to talk about some of the wonderful events coming up in Cricklade, as well as what’s happening here at The Wild Fig Deli.
When I arrived, I was also asked if I would speak about our dear business neighbour, Barbara from the pet shop, who was so tragically killed in a car accident recently.
I won’t lie – I was incredibly nervous. It felt like a huge responsibility to speak on behalf of our community about someone who meant so much to so many people. I just hope I did Barbara proud. ❤️
Moving on from such an emotional conversation wasn’t easy, but we also had the chance to shine a light on some of the fantastic events taking place in our town.
At The Wild Fig Deli
🌿 7th July – We Buy Vintage
☕ 10th July – Tea & Talk
Around Cricklade
🎭 11th July – The Minack Theatre
🎷 17th July Saxophone Concert at St Sampson’s Church
🍻 24th–26th July – The Red Lion Beer Festival
Cricklade really is a special place, and it was an honour to help celebrate everything that makes our community so wonderful.
