What an incredible last weekend of Slaughterhouse Coffee. ✨

I’ve had some time to rest, think and reflect and I just can’t thank you all enough for the support you have showed me.

From day one of me taking over to that very last day where everyone came out to celebrate and it was such a bloody joy. I can’t quite believe what a special place this coffee shop has been for so many. Thank you for your kind words, the cards, the flowers, the pressies, the memories you shared and your last visit to Slaughterhouse Coffee.

It has been my whole life for so long, I’m not sure it’s really sunk in that I won’t be going back behind that coffee machine. But I’m excited for the unknown of this next chapter. An opportunity to rest, think and reflect some more.

Thank you all SO much, from the bottom of my heart. This has been an unbelievable experience.

✨ COME CELEBRATE WITH YOUR OWN CUP ✨

It’s our final week here at Slaughterhouse Coffee as we prepare to close the doors for the last time. I strongly suggest you bring your own cup so we can focus on serving you coffees and not waste time on dishes!

This chapter is ending but I’m so excited for the next one to begin. Try not to be too sad, join us to celebrate how lucky we’ve been to have this incredible space! 🙌

Thursday 27th: Open 9-3
Friday 28th: Open 9-3
Saturday 29th: Open 9-3
Sunday 30th: Open 9-3 (FINAL DAY)

😢 THE END OF AN ERA 😢

It is with the HEAVIEST heart that I must share this post with the world, as I hoped with every ounce of me that it would not come to this.

Unfortunately, the business sale fell through last week. There has been so much to consider but due to a variety of reasons, I have made the difficult decision to permanently close the doors of Slaughterhouse Coffee.

The LAST DAY will be Sunday 30th March. 🎬

Please come visit for one last coffee if you can. It’s always sad when something ends but let’s focus on what an incredible space the Slaughterhouse has been and celebrate it as much as we can in the time that is left.

And who knows, maybe it will pop up somewhere else in the world one day!

✨Big Announcement! ✨

As we settle into 2025, I would like to share some mega news happening here in the coming months. 📰

I’ve thought long n hard about this one, and it’s not been easy but now is the right time for big changes at Slaughterhouse Coffee. I will be stepping down as owner and I’m ready to pass the business baton on. 🤝 I’ve made plenty changes over the years since taking over in 2020 and now it’s someone else’s turn to add their own spark. 💫

We’re currently open as usual and I’ll be pouring your coffees for the next month or two before handing over to new ownership (who have been carefully picked and are equally as lovely)! I can’t wait to see everyone over the coming weeks and thank you all so much for supporting me these last 4 and half years. 🙏🏻

Here’s to being proud of what we’ve achieved so far but excited for what the future holds. 🥂
