Takings have dropped during the heatwaves. We totally get this - when it’s 34 degrees even the most delicious cake can feel like “a lot”
And hot drinks (apart from the morning caffeine fix) can be “too much.”

Ever ready to make changes in order to survive we’ve come up with a new iced drinks menu. It’s taken all week, and we’ve invested in a monster new blender as well as the syrups and chocolate powders we need to make these drinks and more.

It’s also taken a while to produce these menus. They’re not perfect, but hopefully they are “good enough” and the main thing is they are done!

Please take a look. And pop in to try something new. Ask your server for advice - do you need something light & refreshing? Or sweet & creamy? A classic latte over ice? Or a blended flavourful frappe?

We need a super busy few days and would love your support! Enjoy something new and support an independent small business ❤️

And if we still haven’t tempted you how about a Friday Pimms or Prosecco? We thought that might do it 😉

It’s Thirsty Thursday and we’re launching more Dessert Themed Drinks 🥤🍹

Let’s be honest, we all love summer but these heatwaves are “a lot” 🥵

Sales dropped as coffee and cake can be less appealing when it’s 35 degrees. We get this!

So we have “pivoted”( not for the first time - remember Covid? ☹️)

We’ve invested in a heavy duty blender that cuts through ice like butter 🤪

We’ve repurposed our prep room and have bottles of syrups and sauces lined up like the Three Lions waiting to stride out onto the pitch ⚽️

Please order these drinks - we’re eager to make them! But please bear with us if they aren’t all immediately available or if we’ve sold out of an ingredient. Believe me there are lots to try!

My favourites so far? Lemon & Blueberry Muffin Frappe. And Millionaires Iced Latte. But I’m very keen to try the Cherry Bakewell today 🍒

We understand this heat calls for iced drinks and cookies. Perhaps fewer pots of tea and cake?

So we’ve reduced many of our cake slices to 2.50 and made up some yummy mystery boxes!

Pop in this afternoon and pick up some treats to take home or relax in our air conditioned tearoom x

This is exactly how I feel after twelve years in CroxleyGreen.com !

Every day we post on social media. New ideas, offers, deals, revised menus. Ice cream, shakes, frappes, desserts. Salads or soups swapping with the seasons. Afternoon Tea, light lunch, simple breakfast options.

And yet …? People come in saying they found us on Google and didn’t know that we were here 🤦‍♀️

So I’m also asking for your help. On behalf of all small businesses PLEASE!

Celebrity posts go viral. Big companies have huge advertising budgets. Many small businesses are like us. Waking up and wondering what we can post that will tempt you in today.

So that you again and let’s all support each other and have a record breaking day today 🙏🏻
