Unfortunately, we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Mexican Night due to not receiving enough bookings to cover the costs.

We're really disappointed, but we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who booked and continues to support us – it genuinely means the world to our team. ❤️

The good news is... our live music will still be going ahead as planned! 🎶😄 So come along, enjoy a great evening, and support your local.

‼️📢 Sunday Roast Update 📢 ‼️

After much consideration, today (7th June) will be the last Sunday roast service at The Defford Arms for the foreseeable future.

We will still be offering a Sunday Roast on Father’s Day to honour the bookings we already have 😁

This has been a very difficult decision, especially as the feedback on our roasts has been fantastic from both regulars and new customers alike. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve been serving. Unfortunately, positive feedback alone doesn’t pay the bills, and with rising food costs, increasing overheads, and insufficient demand, it is no longer viable for us to continue offering a dedicated Sunday roast menu.

The good news is that our new main menu, including our seasonal specials, will now be available every Sunday, giving you even more choice throughout the day.

We may also look at bringing our Sunday roasts back later in the year when the colder weather returns, so watch this space.

WOW… what a night! 🇬🇷🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our Greek Night on Saturday. The atmosphere was incredible from start to finish, and we’re absolutely blown away by all the fantastic feedback we’ve received.

It was great to see so many of you enjoying the food, drinks, music and making the evening such a huge success. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without your continued support, so thank you all!

A special shout out to Thrown Together for providing amazing live music and helping create such a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening. 🎶

We had an amazing time and hope you did too. Keep an eye on our page as we’ve got plenty more exciting events coming up!
