We’ve decided to close tomorrow, Friday 8th December.

Again, we just want to say thank you to everyone for everything. We won’t leave this behind with sadness but feeling immensely proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 5 years and the positive impact we’ve had on the plant based industry in the UK, especially Nottingham.

So, a little later than planned. (This is a long post)

We’ve had the most amazing 5 years. What started as an idea between James & I in my kitchen in Mapperley as a little side hustle turned into a business, we’ve achieved so much and I am incredibly proud of what we’ve done.

From all the dozens of Festivals - Leeds, Reading, Glastonbury, F1, Download, Lincoln & Nottingham Christmas’ Markets to Weddings, parties in woods and even a funeral.

We survived COVID-19 and had several restaurants including most notably being the first standalone vegan restaurant in a major shopping centre in the UK. We were voted in the Top 10 kebabs in the country too.

But, life happens. Unfortunately, 2022 was a bit of a nightmare and we end 2023 being owed over £100,000 from a company which just puts too much strain on our business.

On the 15th December, we’ll sell our last Famous Filthy Kebab as we’re closing.

I want to take the time to thank everyone who’s had a hand in the business from our friends who used to help us deliver by postcodes the dozens of staff we’ve employed, the suppliers, festival organisers, for having us and every single other person whos helped.

But mostly thank you to the hundreds of thousands of customers we’ve had. It’s honestly been the most amazing five years doing something we’ve loved so much, the experiences and memories will last forever.
