The Yorkshire forced rhubarb season is one of the most anticipated among chefs, and my personal favourite.
I love the balance in flavours and textures in this dish, the creamy set custard and acidity from the rhubarb, the nutty aftertaste from pine nuts in the crumble really make a superb finish.

For those of you missing the summer flavours, winter Eton mess on the menu tonight.
Personally, the robust and deep flavours of autumn and winter are my absolute favourite. From squash, root vegetables and mushrooms, to all the orchard fruits and those deep braising flavours, this is where british food comes into its own. Leading into the festive classics!
This dessert of fig, blackberries and mulled plums, with meringue and lemon curd is absolutely delicious!
