🚨 **Public Service Announcement** 🚨

Batty's Baps is taking a little breather today...

The boss was out last night on the double double pink gins 🍸🍸 because she's a ✨ classy lady ✨ obviously.

As a result, she's been advised to stay away from heavy machinery, hot grills and bright lights today. 😅

So there'll be no cooking today while she recovers from her glamorous social commitments.

We'll be back tomorrow , fully refreshed, fully functional, and spatula in hand ready to serve you all again! ☕️ 🍳 🥓

What an amazing weekend we've had! 🤩 It's been busy from start to finish, and we can't thank you all enough! 🦇

A huge thank you to everyone who came to visit us this week, supported us, and kept us so busy—we truly appreciate every single one of you! ☕🥐🥰

Just a wee reminder that we'll be closed this coming Saturday as our family comes together to celebrate a very special occasion—a wedding! 💍🤍🥂

We're Hiring – Barista Wanted ☕

Batty's Baps is looking for a friendly, reliable barista to join our fantastic team!

Hours:

4 days per week
7:00am – 4:30pm

Weekend rota: alternating one Saturday, then one Sunday, followed by a full weekend off.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment, making great coffee, and working as part of a great team.

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly and enthusiastic
Reliable and punctual
Able to work well as part of a great team
Barista experience is preferred, but a positive attitude is essential.

What we offer:

A supportive, friendly team
A great working environment

Start date: August 2026

☀️ A little heads-up for today... ☀️

Our girls have been absolute superstars this weekend and have worked their socks off, so we're giving them a well-earned early finish. 💛

We'll be turning the grill off at 2pm today, but don't worry—we'll still be open until 3pm for coffees, cakes and a good natter.

If you're out enjoying the "sunshine" (it's definitely there behind the clouds... somewhere! 😉), pop in and see us before we close. And please, please bring your dogs... we've really missed our furry regulars! 🐶❤️
