A quick update for this evening.

Unfortunately Kara is feeling under the weather and won’t now be able to do pizzas tonight. We wish her a speedy recovery.

However, we’re more than happy for anyone joining us for the England v Ghana game to order in a takeaway pizza if you wish.

The football will still be on throughout the pub, so come along, grab a beer and hopefully enjoy another England win.

Kick off is 9pm. ⚽🍺

England are back in World Cup action tonight as they take on Ghana with a 9pm kick off.

Kara will be serving pizzas from 7pm until half-time and we’ll have the match on throughout the pub, including out under the marquee.

We’ve also added a new feature to the area which should add another bit of fun to match nights.

Join us for a beer, a pizza and hopefully another England win.

England are back in World Cup action tomorrow evening as they take on Ghana, with kick off at 9pm.

We’ll have the game on throughout the pub with screens in the bar, games room and out under the marquee. Or, as we’re rather grandly calling it these days, “The Pavilion”. 🙃

Kara will be serving pizzas from 7pm until half-time. Pre-orders are recommended, although there will be some availability on the night.

Adam’s been on his auctions again. Thankfully not records this time, nor one of those odd Indian elephant ornaments. Instead he’s come back with something a little more user-friendly.

Nothing too dramatic, but we’re hoping it might spark a few friendly rivalries, some dubious claims of sporting greatness and perhaps the odd VAR controversy before the evening is over. ⚽😂

You’ll have to pop down and see what he’s been up to and catch the match along with some pizza.

The Bluebell at Gringley by kook Kara is at the pub today with her Father’s Day Carvery, serving throughout the day.

If you haven’t made any plans, why not leave the cooking and washing up to someone else and join us for a relaxed afternoon.

We do have some street food for you this evening as pub favourites Flindt’s roll into the village from around 5pm.

As always, they’ll be serving up their excellent Mexican-inspired food, which has proved hugely popular whenever they visit.

With the weather looking set fair and temperatures heading towards scorchio levels, it’s the perfect excuse to grab a cold drink, sit out in the garden and let someone else do the cooking. 🍻 🌮 ☀️

Join us this evening for our weekly Speed Quiz with Simon.

Always one of the highlights of the week and great fun whether you’re playing on your own, as a pair or as part of a team.

You certainly don’t have to be a genius to take part and that’s the beauty of the game. You can be rooted to the bottom before the final question and still end up taking the win!

The quiz gets underway from 7.30pm.

So grab your mates, grab a drink and join us for an evening of laughs, a bit of friendly competition and a great atmosphere.

Join us on Wednesday for England’s opening match of the World Cup ⚽️🏆

Before kick-off, Kara will be firing up a Balkan-inspired BBQ. With the aromas drifting through the pub, it’s sure to get the tastebuds going before the action starts.

We’ll have the game on screens throughout the pub, with TVs in the main bar, the games room and two more under the marquee, so there’ll be plenty of room for everyone to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Whether you’re joining us for the football, the food, or both, come along and cheer the Three Lions on with us.

No Speed Quiz this Thursday evening, but we do have something a little different.

Mark will be taking over, with a bit of help from Hayden, for a Music Quiz with questions covering all sorts of genres and decades.

So if you fancy testing your musical knowledge, get a team together and join us from 7.30pm.
