Did you know?

The Lydden bell is full of amazing history. The pub has been standing for 286 years, built in 1740 it was a coach house that had stables built for travelling horses with carts of goods.

The first ever licensee (estimated 1740+) was a woman named Sarah Weston. See on slide 4 ( or visit http://www.dover-kent.com/Bell-Lydden.html ) to read about all of our amazing history.
