Schools out for summer which means our Summer Family Fun Day is fast approaching 🎉

Start the summer with us on Thursday 6th August. We'll have all your favourites including the chance to learn some circus skills, face painting (of course!) and an activity trail that always leaves mum and dad confused 😂

Our event is free to attend, small charges apply for some activites (marked with an *) but we aim to keep costs to an absolute minimum.

Activities will run throughout the day, unless otherwise stated so join us for breakfast before the fun begins, or pop in for a late lunch to avoid the midday madness.

Don't forget our children's meals are even greater value during the summer holidays thanks to the government's Great British Summer Savings initiative. See you all soon 🥳

🌹Deadheading Roses🌹

Regularly removing faded blooms throughout the flowering season encourages fresh growth and keeps your garden looking full of life and colour.

Hoping for beautiful autumn rose hips? Simply stop deadheading repeat-flowering roses towards the end of the season, a lovely way to add winter interest to the garden.

🚫💦 Hosepipe ban? No problem! 🚫💦

Watering cans are your best friend during a hose pipe ban. Got a water butt? Even better. One downpour and it can fill right up if it's hooked to your roof. It’s an easy DIY fix to tap into any summer rain.

Focus your efforts on anything newly planted, those in pots, and plants that naturally need more water. Many established plants can cope surprisingly well with less.

TOP TIP: Make every drop count by mulching your beds and watering in the early morning or late evening to beat the heat.
