Let’s talk about steak night being every Wednesday, or even better how it’s 2-4-1!

We’ve decided to carry this on throughout the summer as it’s so popular and it’s one of your favourite meals. Our Seafood Platter is back for summer - and it's a good one.

King prawns, whitebait, calamari, anchovies, smoked mackerel pâté, pickled cucumber, sourdough and crostini, with tartare and sweet chilli on the side. It's meant for sharing, though we won't judge if you don't.

You love them so much that we couldn't stop, so we've decided to continue our Steak Wednesday offer throughout the summer months! Buy one steak, get another on us. From 5pm every Weds.

Heading into the weekend on a high after THIS happened on Wednesday night! 🏆

We’re so proud to share the news that The Coastguard was awarded Tenanted Pub of the Year at the 2026 Pub Awards!

This award is a real testament to all the hard work and care shown day in, day out by Lee, Jordan, Kelly and the entire Coastguard team - the heart and soul of the pub ❤️

And a massive thank you to all our customers, locals and visitors alike, for continuing to support us through the busy summer days and cosy winter evenings.

And of course to for a brilliant evening and for recognising our efforts.

Here’s to our wonderful pub, our beautiful bay, and another great summer ahead. CHEERS! 🍻

Half term at The Coastguard looks a bit like this: sea air, long lunches, ice creams from Dock of the Bay, and a drink under the pergola while the kids keep busy in the sandpit 🪣🍦

Whether it’s breakfast after a beach walk, a seafood lunch by the bay or dinner as the sun starts to drop, we’ll be here at the bottom of the hill ⚓
