The South of Scotland is absolutely the place to be for cycling right now!

Dumfries & Galloway is really cementing its reputation as a cracking destination for gravel biking! We're absolutely buzzing about the brand new Gallovidian Gravel route that Cycling UK launched yesterday.

Stretching a massive 330km, it's cleverly designed as three daisy-chain loops that link up the serene scenery of the Galloway Forest Park with the stunning Solway Coast. It’s a real belter of an adventure.

The team behind the route said a huge highlight for them is the exceptionally warm welcome cyclists always get in here.

Vanessa our marketing manager, popped along to the launch at in Dumfries to get a first look at the route and hear all about its brilliant aspirations.

Looking ahead, we’re so excited to be teaming up with Cycling UK and our partners over the coming months to really champion and celebrate this fantastic new addition. The future of cycling in D&G is looking incredibly bright, and we can't wait to see more folk exploring the region on two wheels.
