Say Dough is an interactive adults only game night led by Kai, a play researcher from the University of Abertay. Designed for ages 18+, this playful and social experience explores creativity, communication, and hands on interaction through a unique guided game session with Kai. We’ve introduced a simple gaming pass system to make things clear and sustainable, while keeping the focus on what matters.

Here’s how it works:
Access Pass – £10, covers up to 4 players. Bring your own games or use ours!

Monthly Pass – £35, covers the member plus a fellow adventurer every visit. Unlimited gaming, plus 10% off food and drink on weekdays.

Cake or Dice is a welcoming, alcohol-free space where you can game together and be yourself. If you’ve got questions, just drop us a message or ask at the counter.

Bring the family down after school, pick a game from our shelves, and enjoy some quality time together without worrying about the bill adding up. Great quality food, hundreds of games to rent from our library, and a relaxed space where everyone is welcome.

🎲 You can now join the Cake or Dice Guild online

Our monthly and yearly Guild Memberships are now available through the website.

They’re aimed at regulars, board game fans, RPG players, dice goblins, and anyone who wants to support Cake or Dice while getting a few extra perks along the way.

Each membership also includes a monthly mystery box, so there’ll be a little surprise for Guild members each month.
