Lately, I've been getting messages and opportunities that I never imagined would land in my inbox.

I'm not quite ready to share them just yet (fingers crossed! 🤞), but honestly... just being considered is such a surreal feeling.

Running a small business isn't something you do alone.

While everyone sees the cakes, markets and Cake Shed, what they don't always see is the people quietly making it all possible.

My mum and dad are always there.

They're forever picking Franky up from school, helping out whenever they can, working around my crazy baking schedule and giving me the time I need to keep doing what I love.

Without them, Bakes by Billie honestly wouldn't run the way it does.

So this is just a little public thank you to two people who never ask for any recognition but deserve every bit of it.

I appreciate you more than you know. 🖤
