🥳🍻30 YEARS IN BUSINESS🍻🥳
On the 1st of July we gather round,
For a man well known in Castlecaulfield town.
Thirty years at Davisons Bar today,
And there’s plenty of stories we all could say.
For behind that bar stood Melvin Davison,
With a smile and welcome from dusk till dawn.
With steady hands and a bit of craic,
Always greeting old friends coming back.
The pints were poured and the laughs were shared,
And everyone knew there was always care.
For if you walked in feeling weary or low,
You’d leave with a smile and a lighter glow.
But no man builds thirty years alone,
And Melvin never walked that road on his own.
Beside him stood Roberta through thick and thin,
Sharing every hard day and every win.
And Shawnee, Claire, Kerrie and Chloe too,
We’re all part of the team that everybody knew.
With Malcolm there helping along the way,
A family built with pride every day.
And now there’s more little feet around,
Grandchildren bringing joy profound.
Four grandsons and a granddaughter too,
All so proud of the man they run through the pub doors to.
For Davisons Bar became more than a place,
It became a home full of warmth and grace.
A place for music, stories and cheer,
And a welcome that lasted year after year.
So raise up your glasses and give a great cheer,
To Melvin and thirty remarkable years.

Davison’s Bar is soon to be 30 years old🥳🍻

We did it!!🥳 We managed to keep it a secret from Melvin and Roberta😅
Yesterday we threw a surprise early party for the upcoming 30th Birthday of Davison’s Bar and our hearts are truly so full🥰 We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind messages, presents and cards over the last few weeks, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to come along yesterday to Celebrate Melvin and Roberta on 30 years of Davisons Bar🥰🍻🥳
We were overwhelmed with the amount of people that showed up!! It just proves to us that over the last 30 years we have really made friends for life within our customers🥰

This time 25 years ago, Mel & Roberta tied the knot🥳 we still can’t decide who deserves the medal👀😅 25 years since their after party was in our very own bar, apparently Melvin was even on the tables👀 Mother looking like perfection and photo ready, while Melvin is pulling faces (the reoccurring theme throughout their marriage😅😂)
Anyway, a huge HAPPY ANNIVERSARY from us all here at Club D🥳💒🥰
