Carnivore update 🥩

I've been eating this way for nearly 5 months! That time has gone fast. My motivation was to eliminate a candida, possible non friendly bacteria gut situation, and it's working!

🥩 No more foot blisters
🥚 No more itchy feet
🥓 No more itchy toes

✂️ I cut out *seed oils *sugar *processed foods *vegetables *processed butters *alcohol

For the first 3 months, I ate -

🥩 Mostly red (fatty meat) such as beef Rib-eye, lamb shanks, and lamb neck.

🥚I ate up to 12 eggs a day, I'm now eating around 6 per day.

🍵☕️ I limited my caffeine. Although I have drunk decaf tea/coffee for around 4 years now, it still holds some caffeine in it and comes from a plant.

🥕🥔🍅 I cut out the veg and fruit, it turns into sugar and fruit holds sugar content and sugar can keep my candida going. As I'm learning, vegetables have a defence mechanism, which means if you've an unhealed gut plus other issues going on, it can have adverse effects.

And it's true, recently I added a little low oxylate veg back in, and my feet started to react. Not all of the time, but if I use veg for more than just a garnish, hello itch 👋

📖 Studies say that eating this way can help and reverse many issues such as *type 2 diabetes *candida *thyroid issues *pre-diabetes, *fertility issues *arthritis *rheumatoid arthritis *and much more.

I've read the research, I've seen the studies, I'm learning and unlearning.

⏰️ It takes time to become fat adapted. Good fats such as tallow, full fat/raw butter, ghee, and fatty meats are not the enemy that we've been sold and told.

🎊 I feel so much better eating this way. I feel more clarity, I've naturally come to a comfortable weight. No bloating. Really good sleep. Rarely any gas. Good energy and more ...

🍬 Yes, I've had cravings. Yes, I've fallen off the wagon a few times. Yes, I get right back on, and there is NO point in beating yourself up.

Which product can I use as a facial moisturising cream?

Tallow cream.

Use it as a day and/or night cream. You only need a half pea sized amount. Apply as you would with a normal face cream.

I use mine every night. Depending on how your skin feels, you could apply morning and nighttime 🌙

💜 Lavender is calming and encourages easy breezy sleep.

🧡 Orange is brightening, and if you like those citrus scents, this is your go-to.

🩷 Unscented is for those who may have scent sensitivities and sensitive skin. Relaxing.

🤍 Naked is for those that have sensitivities to scents, sensitive skin, and don't mind the consistency being a bit denser.

I've tried them all. My current fave is naked 🤍 in bed, too 😌 Cheeky ☺️

Hello 😊 I am now offering mobile one to one's, partners and group Yoga Nidra sessions.

What is Yoga Nidra? (also known as Yogic sleep) Yoga nidra is a form of meditation. The main difference is that you're lying down as opposed to sitting.

It doesn't matter if you've never practised yoga or meditation. The only requirement is for you to allow yourself to rest as you follow the sound of my voice.

Yoga Nidra can aid in relieving anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, and nervousness and has also been linked to helping with PTSD, addiction, stress, and depression.

Yoga nidra allows the body to enter into a state of consciousness similar to deep sleep. In this place, healing and repair can take place at a cellular level.

We will go through steps to relax and clear your mind. Focusing on different parts of the body and breath ✨️

Your mind, body, and heart will come into relaxation and rest. It has been said that 45 minutes of yoga nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep.

I will provide comfy blankets, cushions, and eye pillows so we can bring you into the most relaxing and comfy space. My offering is that I come to you in your place of home or work.

I'm going to be teaching a weekly yoga class at St Georges Hall in Polegate, next to St George's Catholic church. Tuesdays at 10am for one hour, as from March 7th (next week) it has a big car park 😀

This class will be great for beginners/refreshers and intermediate. It will be a gentle strength class with some toning exercises too 🧘‍♀️🕉

All ages welcome. You don't need to be flexible, of a certain age or form. I say this as many people ask me this about yoga. Come as you are ❤️

If you would like to stretch your body out, look after your muscles, bones, and joints 😊 then physical yoga is a great way to support these 🧘‍♀️ it's also amazing for relaxing the mind.

If you're interested please send me a message. Bring your own mat. I will provide blocks and will take a few blankets with me 😊

My first batch of Organic Tallow has almost sold out, new batch being made next week 😊

I wanted to share a bit more about Tallow and answer a few questions too.

This cream is for face, body, hands and feet. Soothing for skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea, chronically dry skin and more. Anti-aging too.

You will have a different experience with tallow compared to commercial creams. Because of its purity the consistency changes from summer to winter. You can warm it in your hands and fingers before applying to your skin.

Start with a half a pea sized amount and go from there.

It could feel a little grainy too but this is not abrasive to the skin at all, it will melt in as you apply it. I've been working on getting this to a smoother consistency ❤️ and it is now smoother 😊

Is it greasy? It may feel a little greasy when you first apply it, your skin will soon drink it in. I leave mine on for 2 minutes before I apply make-up and it makes for a fantastic night cream. Your skin will feel so hydrated ✨️

If your skin feels too greasy, you've used too much. It does not clog pores! I repeat, it does not clog pores 😊

A few customers have reported that it is in fact minimising the appearance of their pores ❤️

Tallow suits all skin types. Even if you have oily skin. I will go into more depth of each skin type over ✨️

Recently, I have started to craft my own skin and body care product and have discovered the benefits it has been having on my skin and health 😊

I am now able to offer out my first batch of Organic Tallow cream which can be used on the face, body, hands and feet.

Tallow has so many benefits for the skin and suits all skin types, doesn't clog pores. It has a similar profile to our human skin so it makes sense that our skin would love it 💛

Prevention ✨️
It prevents dryness at the cellular level without suffocating the skins barrier and assists the skin in retaining moisture, restores youthful looking skin and replenishes the building blocks of our cells that decrease with age.

What does it do? 💛
It deeply moisturises, soothes and is known for soothing skin conditions and in some cases helps to clear up Eczema, Rosacea, Acne, Chronically dry skin and offers long term anti-aging benefits. It's even good for nappy rash.
