What a beautiful day to kick off Independent Bookshop Week
👏📚👏📚
Ebbw Vale has had it's own Independent Book Shop for six months and it's been wonderful sharing our cosy space with you all. Not only are we a place to purchase your next great read, but we've built the business around community, conversation, and providing a space to relax. We celebrate local authors, English and Cymraeg language books, as well as all your favourites - along with refreshments to make your browsing experience even better.
This shop exists because people here still believe in supporting local and choosing independent. Every visit matters — and every customer is part of what makes this place special.
We have some exciting announcements coming this week, as well as some indie exclusive books! Make sure you're following our socials for all the latest updates 😊

Say hello to Spudbert aka Kid Potato and his friends; Chomp, Dudz, Raven and Kid Evil. We have lots of FREE sample books in store as well as character cards and snot maze bookmarks! The full copy of the book is also available. Targeted at age 7+ years and brilliant for reluctant readers - let your child’s imagination expand to worlds that are infinite 📚💭💭💭 pop by the shop and pick up a free pack whilst they last ☺️

Indie bookstores like ours in Ebbw Vale provide so much value to the community. We’ve created a warm light on a grey day, a place to loiter, chat, rest, breathe, belong. Where friends meet, colleagues collaborate and children make new pals. is a time to celebrate the space we have created here - as a community. We have a thriving book club, a promising Cymraeg reading group, a lovely story time session, poetry hour and daily crafts, with scope for much more. Indie bookshop week ends the day before we celebrate our sixth month of being open. Half a year of your support for which I’m forever grateful ☺️ Thank you ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿📚☕️
