We held our first Sip & Sketch evening at the cafe last night, and what a lovely evening it was!
Come along again in a month’s time on the 29th March - bring a bottle, and whatever drawing materials you have. There’ll be some still life options set up, and we will be sketching people and things around us.
Hot drinks and cakes are available to buy and glasses are provided 🍷

We hope you’re all having a wonderful Xmas season! We’ll be open every day as usual over the holidays to provide a cosy stop off on your winter walks - except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day when we’ll be closed. We’ve got a couple of shorter opening times over the Christmas period as listed below!

Christmas Eve: Closed
Christmas Day: Closed
Boxing Day: 10 30am - 4pm
27th - 30th: Open as usual
New Year’s Eve: 9am - 3pm
New Year’s Day: 10 30am - 4pm

Here at the Penny Pot we’re kicking off the year with a fun new series of evening events - Penny’s Sessions!

On February 15th we’ll kickstart with our first event, local band Beyond Hope.

We’ll be opening from 6 30pm and the band will be coming on around 7pm - we’ll have homemade cakes and hot drinks etc available as usual 🍰☕️

There’s also the option of a tasty veggie chilli with jacket potatoes (vegan friendly!) - so feel free to have your dinner while you listen. It’ll be a fiver for entry or a tenner if you want chilli too - there’s an option for that when you book online 😎 . We’ll be a little limited for space so best to book your ticket in advance!

After a challenging few weeks of train cancellations and power cuts, we’ve decided to give our incredible team a well-deserved break to recharge.

We’ve closed for the holidays and will reopen on 3rd January 2025!

A massive thank you to everyone for your support and kindness throughout the year—it means the world to us. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a fantastic start to the new year!
