I know I’ve not posted in a little while, but when you’re closing, there’s not much to really post about, unless you want to discuss the latest episodes of Succession 😂
But I did think of something I wanted to say, so come and join me for a digital coffee whilst I ramble on a bit! I realised that if you’ve been into the cafe in the past few weeks, we will likely have discussed the closing, and what the future holds, but if you’re just a digital customer as it were, you’re not in the loop, so I thought I’d write up some FAQs in case you too wanted to know 👍🏼
Are you sad you’re closing❓Of course, this was my dream, and I never envisioned it was going to be over this soon, however I realised towards the end of last year that this was probably how things were going to go, so I had to accept this fate, but I am proud of what I did achieve, and have no regrets as at least I tried.
Do you think you’ll try opening a cafe elsewhere❓Whilst I’m closing the physical & metaphorical door of my business, I’m not locking it and throwing away the key. If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that we don’t know what the future holds. I can say that the door will remain closed for the next year or 2 whilst I “reset” my brain and actually live my life for a bit, but if in a couple years I get the urge to get back into baking, I’d likely get back to my roots and stick with farmers markets.
What are you going to do when you’ve closed❓ I’m starting a regular Monday to Friday, 9-5 job, and can’t wait to clock out when I clock out 😂
