This Friday, 26 June, we're kicking off something special - every Friday this summer, we're turning the canal side into a proper family get-together - and the whole village is invited 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

- Live music with Aiden Davis - 5:30–7:30pm
- Lawn games from 5:30pm - giant Jenga, dominoes & Connect Four
- Fired-up BBQ - ribs, hot dogs & proper beef burgers
- Wood-fired pizzas & our outdoor shipping container bar - open every week
- Outdoor movie from 8pm - popcorn at the ready

There's face painting for the little ones (and the grown-ups brave enough to ask), drinks flowing, and no need to book a thing - just grab your nearest and dearest and come on down. The best spots on the lawn go fast, so don't dawdle. Come early, claim your patch, and make a proper evening of it.

Two views. One room. Both worth waking up to🌿

On one side - the room. Carved four-poster bed, a chandelier catching the morning light, soft layered character that only comes with age. On the other side - the view. Sash windows out onto a green canopy, the Union Canal, the kind of slow Scottish morning that makes you want to stay another night.

The Bonnington Room is named for the historic Bonnington estate, one of the oldest landholdings in this corner of West Lothian. A small nod to the deeper history that sits all around Ratho.

It's Father's Day this Sunday and at The Bridge Inn, chef's doing his Sunday roasts - roast beef, roast pork belly, or a roasted aubergine for the veggies. Canalside tables, the family round the table, Dad quietly delighted he didn't have to lift a finger 🍻
