Thank you, 2025.
It may look like the same place, the same routine.
But no two days are ever the same.
A year fuelled by caffeine, chaos and zero work-life balance.
Thank you, to the thousands of customers who walked through our doors and made this year what it was.
Thank you,
for cooking pure magic at Superman speed, casually doing 90-hour weeks and acting shocked when tired.
for following the boss everywhere, keeping him calm (to the extend) and building paccheri like the Great Wall of China, for plating like a military operation: one wrong move and it’s over.
for making sure no birthday goes un-caked and no special day passes without that cheeseball.elena.kov for paying long-awaited wages and acting as everyone’s PA, travel agent, council officer and spending 30 minutes squeezing “one last table” into a space that legally does not exist.
Raffaele () for being the actual soul of the restaurant. If this place had a heartbeat, it would be him.
for ensuring no lobster ever makes it past 24 hours in the fridge (he turns vegans into pescatarians without a blink) and for heroically “checking” every wine on the list.
for cleaning to love songs and keeping chef jackets in military-level order.
for supplying life-saving coffee and having the bravery to tell grown men to shut up and work (daily).
for his charm around customers. Honestly, who doesn’t love Santo?
- for knowing exactly what guests will order when setting up cutlery, then disastrously mixing it all up while polishing… and somehow still boosting tips by charming chats.
for saving days that started badly and somehow ended worse.
@ Ali, Ahmed & Saad for spotless kitchens and cutting illegal amounts of onions for Genovese while everyone else cries.
for proving that “maintenance day” is a myth and everything can be fixed mid-service.
Same place. Same team.
Different disasters every day.
Wouldn’t change it for the world. ❤️
