The Canny Man’s is an Edinburgh institution established in 1871 and passed down through generations of the Kerr family. It is a free house, as free as the wind as Mr Kerr used to say, therefore it has no connection with any brewery and only sells the best of each brewers produce. hat is served is seafood and S MØRREBRØD sandwiches. Introduced many years ago, it has been tailor-made to suit customers’ needs, and freshly prepared each day, it is ideal as a drinker's meal. A public house that is what this is, and it has survived as such for over one hundred years. Please try to remember it, and the characters you see here are real. It is well loved and well hated.
