The Albanach is a treasure of a pub in Edinburgh Book now for festive food and drinks this Christmas! Whisky. It’s the best of both worlds.

Treat yourself to a true taste of Scotland at Edinburgh’s Albanach. And when we’re talking a true taste of Scotland, there’s only one place to start. The Albanach has no less than 330 different types of malt whisky on offer. Inside, you’ll find bare stone walls and muted colours for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. There’s a dedicated pub restaurant at the back serving up family-friendly food while the front is a traditional Scottish pub. The beer garden is the place to relax on sunny days and four-legged friends are welcome as we're dog-friendly too. Coaches are also welcome. Feel the love for Scotland at the Albanach.

🥃 A little wh**ky knowledge goes a long way!
A huge thank you to the lovely Mike Brown from lan Macleod Distillers for taking the time to put our team through their paces with a fantastic wh**ky training session!

We had the pleasure of diving into the stories, flavours and characters behind three brilliant brands: Glengoyne, Tamdhu and Smokehead.

From smooth and sherried to bold and smoky, there was plenty to learn (and, naturally, a little tasting involved! 😉)

It's all about keeping our knowledge sharp so we can help you find your next favourite dram when you visit us here on Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile!
