🕯️ The Mystery of the Templar Grave at Horninghold
Miles from the nearest known Templar preceptory at Dingley, in Leicestershire, lies the mysterious grave of an unknown Templar at Horninghold—a medieval mystery that still holds its secrets today.
Carved upon the grave slab is a remarkable cross, incorporating symbols associated with the Alpha and Omega—the beginning and the end. Found in the Book of Revelation, they speak of God and Christ's eternal nature, sovereignty, and dominion over all creation.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
— Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
— Revelation 22:13
But who was the Templar buried at Horninghold? Why was he buried here, so far from a known Templar preceptory? And what secrets does this mysterious grave still hold?
