We’re so sorry but unfortunately due to staff sickness, we don’t have any chefs to open the kitchen today 😞😞😞
Our lovely front of house team will still be serving hot and cold drinks, smoothies and cakes…

It is with equal sadness and delight that I announce that I will no longer be running Beetroot Sauvage from the beginning of October onwards.

The Wellness Centre is closing permanently, but the café will re-open in a different incarnation under a new owner, so everyone will still be able to enjoy the wonderful space and garden at Ratcliffe Terrace, one of the city’s hidden gem.

Despite my best efforts, I never turned this calling into a sustainable business. High overheads and increasing costs in electricity, coupled with the socio-economic pressures of the past 2 years, have led me to realise that this dream is no longer for me. So it’s time to focus on my other business, Earthy Vegan Cheese, and keep things more simple and spacious.

I am planning the release of a Beetroot At Home cookery book in December, so stay tuned and join our mailing list to be kept informed and re-create these Beetroot Sauvage flavours at home.
Thank you to all our friends, customers, suppliers and all the staff that have carried this love project forward and nourished each other in this community.

Our final day open will be Sunday 2 October, come and say hi/bye if you can before then.
