What a blast from the past! This photo was taken 31 years ago of our current takeaway owner, manager and head chef Ala Miah in his youth working for the same Chadni Express you still see in Whipton today! As well as running the shop, he’s still at our restaurant working in the kitchen everyday as our amazing curry chef with 35 years of experience 🤩

Good evening everyone. We thought we’d make sure everyone knows that we are like before still open as normal during this second lockdown! We would also just like to kindly ask that if you plan on ordering a takeaway from us for collection it is still mandatory to wear a face mask/covering when inside the shop. We are in full support of this ruling and will be enforcing it for the safety of you and our staff. We have introduced a plastic screen between our counter and the customer area to ensure the safety of our customers and staff and there is hand sanitizer provided on arrival. We would also like to ask that you place your order over the phone rather than ordering inside the takeaway as this reduces contact between everyone and is therefore safer. We are very grateful to everyone that has been patient with us through the last lockdown and it’s aftermath as we all adjust to these rules that have been put in place to keep us all safe. We will not be making any acceptions as we are very concerned about your safety and ours during these difficult times. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has continued to use our service since the first lockdown began and hope everyone is well and healthy. We hope you continue to use our service through this second lockdown so that we can keep providing our delicious food to all our customers for years to come! Thank you!

A big thank you to everyone who sent us an application for a driving job! It’s really nice to see that so many people were willing to help out and we are very grateful! We have now filled the days that we had available for jobs but if you have applied with us and there is an opening any time soon we will be happy to let you know.

Hello lovely people! As you can probably guess we are indeed EXTREMELY busy with deliveries at the moment so there is like to be a delay! We are working our hardest to stay on time but ask that you please be patient with us during these unprecedented times that have affected our staffing negatively in terms of drivers. We are facing many more delivery requests than we typically do on a Saturday night! If you have any queries give the shop a call on 01392468378. Hi there! We are still staying open as we have not been told to close however we will only be taking orders for collection and deliveries. We will not be taking orders in the shop face to face anymore to keep everyone safe and there will be a *no waiting inside the takeaway* policy as we are trying to keep all contact to an absolute minimum. Unless you order online or ring the takeaway we will not take your order. I’m sure you can all understand why these measures are being putting in place given the current circumstances and we appreciate your compliance. Thank you for being patient with us and continuing to use our service.

Following updates from government we have been informed that pubs and restaurants will be closed from tonight until further notice however takeaways are to remain open if safe to do so. Therefore we are still open tonight and can assure you that we are taking every measure in order to provide safe deliveries and collections. Contactless and card payments of course would be preferred but if cash is necessary we will accept but would ask that everyone is making sure to wash their hands and we will provide our drivers with gloves as a precaution.

Good evening everyone. We would like to announce that despite recent events we will continue to stay open for as long as we can! We would advise that contactless payments and card payments over the phone would obviously be a safer option according to recent government advice however if that option is not easy for you we will continue to take cash payments until further notice. As for deliveries we would ask that you would please listen out for your doors carefully as we are implementing a contact free delivery strategy for the safety of our customers and drivers. What this means is that orders will most likely be left on doorsteps after a knock or bell and if our drivers do not see anyone answer to collect their food they will try calling you. We are taking this situation very seriously for your safety and our own. If you have any questions please contact us privately by messaging our page or calling the takeaway directly. We are making sure that our staff are completely well and are taking extra precautions in the kitchen for everyone’s health and safety. Just to clarify we are still open taking deliveries and collections and would hope that you continue to use our service and also keep yourselves safe in this difficult time. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
