Empty plates, contented diners and wide smiles provide us with all the motivation we need. There's a proud pedigree behind the team at the Jack and Craig's cooking has confidence, precision and excitement in equal measure. Winter 2023 marks the continuation of our 30th year as a Devon dining institution. Our beef and pork travel no distance at all, chicken and duck are both free range. Local game

features on the Specials board when birds are in season and at their best. During the warmer months there is a stylish courtyard for dining alfresco. As a venue the Jack can also host wedding receptions, conferences, large parties and breakfast meetings. We will always go the extra mile to try and cater for specific requirements and to surpass our guests expectations.

Come and get your burger fix before the England game tonight 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We are open from 5.30pm with food from 6pm. That gives you plenty of time to indulge and relax before heading off in time for kick off. ⚽️

Please note that we do not have the facilities to show the game, but can recommend some great places to watch it.

We are very sad to be saying goodbye to Jack in September as he heads off to uni 😢

We have loved having him with us during his gap year and he’s fully leant into the ‘Jack’ way and become a part of our family 💚

This leaves a hole to fill in our front of house team, this role would be perfect for a student taking a gap year. Your shifts will be a mix of lunch and dinner, sometimes split shifts, sometimes a longer days, across both weekend and midweek shifts. Approx 20 - 30 hours a week across 3/4 working days 🍴

This is a really varied, rewarding job where no two days are the same. Good rates of pay and a team who really care about what we do 🥰

All we ask for is a smile, initiative, and a passion for showing people a good time 🤗
