Walk in the Park 🍃

Joy Bain’s art exhibition transforms familiar landscapes into vibrant pieces of art. The exhibition reflects on her connection to Callendar Park, spendings majority of her summers in the park with her sister in the 1970’s.

Walk in the Park is shown in the Park Gallery at Callendar House. Joy’s exhibition explores memory, nature and wellbeing while encouraging visitors to pause and reconnect with our surroundings.

Photographic Exhibition : Iron and Clay by Tom Astbury 📸

On display in the 2nd Floor Galleries at Callendar House, this exhibition features powerful photographs documenting Falkirk’s foundries, brickworks and the people who worked in them between 1979 and 1983.

Open daily 10:00 – 5:00pm (last entry at 4:30pm) and closed on Tuesdays.

Iron and Clay Photography Exhibition 📷

This powerful exhibition documents an important chapter of history through images taken by Tom Astbury. While working with Falkirk Council’s Museum Service, Tom captured foundries, brickworks and the people who worked within them.

You can find this free exhibition which is running until 16th August in the Second Floor Galleries at Callendar House. Callendar House is open daily from 10am – 5pm (last entry 4:30pm) and is closed on Tuesdays.

All Your Ducks in a Row –Walk in the Park 🦆

Look at this vibrant screen print by Joy Bain, inspired by the boating lake at Callendar Park.
