Well... what an afternoon❤️

A massive thank you to the brilliant Tommy Twigg for dropping in and entertaining our residents once again. Each time you visit, you bring something special🎤🎶

Seeing our residents singing their favourite songs, picking up the microphone for a solo, joining in with a duet, dancing and simply enjoying themselves is what makes days like this so special. Watching their confidence shine, and seeing those smiles... you can't put a price on moments like these❤️

🌿A Wee Trip, Familiar Faces & Full Hearts💚

Some days just remind you why the little things mean so much🥰

We had a lovely wee trip to the garden centre with Billy and Robert, taking our time, enjoying a wander and, of course, stopping to admire everything we probably didn't need 🌸🌼☕

Next day we welcomed our friends from Be-inn Unity 💚 highlight of our week, but this visit was extra special. Caroline was in her element when Christian and Mason walked through the door. Two familiar faces she hadn't seen for a while, and judging by everyone's face, I think it's fair to say we've missed having you around.

Now lads... you picked the one Tuesday we were gardening🤣🌱 sorry, but if you turn up on gardening day, you're getting handed a pair of gloves! To be fair, after all those Tuesdays together over the years, you knew exactly what you were letting yourselves in for 🤣

Partnerships like this aren't built overnight. They grow through friendship, trust, shared memories and always making time for one another Be-inn Unity !

🎶Better Late Than Never... Madness at Helix Park🎉

I know I'm a few weeks late posting this one, but some memories are simply too special not to share❤️

Brilliant wee night at Madness in the Helix Park. The atmosphere was electric, everyone bouncing and our residents just simply living in the moment made the whole evening so special 🥰

What really made the night was the people. It was amazing how many familiar faces we bumped into, but just as lovely was the number of people we'd never met before. By the end of the night we'd blethered, shared stories, danced, and headed home having made new friends. It just goes to show how powerful music is - it brings complete strangers together and, for a few hours, everyone is simply there for the same reason... to enjoy themselves❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped for a blether, sang with us and made our residents feel so welcome. Nights like this remind us that kindness costs nothing, music brings people together and memories like these last a lifetime. It was definitely one of those nights we'll never forgot💙Madness Suggs Carrondale Care Home !

Some birthdays deserve to be celebrated in a very special way... and this was definitely one of them❤️

Happy 60th Birthday to our one and only Gerry - a true gentleman, a great friend, and someone who is loved by so many. We hope you had the most wonderful day with your family, enjoyed lunch at your favourite restaurant, Gambero Rosso Italian Restaurant, and of course, we couldn't let the celebrations end there without the brilliant Debbie McKnight getting everyone singing, dancing and having a great time🎶

The highlight of the afternoon had to be Gerry taking centre stage to sing his favourite, Flower of Scotland❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It was one of those special moments where everyone joined in... there wasn't a person in the room who wasn't smiling. Memories like that are simply priceless.

A huge thank you also goes to our wonderful friends at A&J Alloa Road Shop - Spar who never fail to make every special occasion extra special. From the incredible handmade Mars Bar bouquet to the absolutely enormous birthday cake (which tasted every bit as good as it looked), your kindness and continued support means so much to everyone here at Carrondale💐🎂

Days like these remind us that it's the personal touches, the friendships we've built, and the amazing people around us that make these celebrations so special and create memories that will stay with us for years to come.

Last Saturday was all about Jamie💙

There are some moments that remind us exactly why we do what we do, and this was one of them. Watching Jamie enjoy every minute of a day that meant so much to him was incredibly special. Seeing the pride on his face, hearing the music and soaking up the atmosphere created memories that will stay with us for a very long time.

These are the moments that matter most. Taking the time to support someone to continue doing something that holds such personal meaning is what person-centred care is all about. Jamie, thank you for letting us be part of such an important day in your life. It was a privilege, and one we'll always remember🧡 Carrondale Care Home !

🍔🔫BBQ & Mission: Impossible... Stay Dry💦🤣

When the Scottish sunshine makes an appearance, you simply have to make the most of it... and that's exactly what we did!🌞🍔🌭

BBQ was sizzling, the paddling pool filled (not for paddling... for reloading our water pistols🤣💦), and before long the garden had turned into the ultimate water battle. Everyone joined in, with friendly competition and a few surprise attacks along the way!

Gordon... your 007 moves to dodge the soaking was something else 🤣 sorry, we didn't manage to capture everything on camera because we were too busy ducking the water ourselves📷

A huge thank you to the wonderful Lauren Kyle for another fantastic afternoon of entertainment🎤💜 and taking the time to sing with all of our residents... so special🩷

And of course, a massive thank you to our incredible kitchen team for preparing another delicious BBQ that everyone thoroughly enjoyed🍔🌭👏

🌟Happy Father's Day👔

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and the men who have played such an important role in the lives of others.

Father's Day can bring so many emotions. For some, it's a day of happy memories and stories shared around a table. For others, it may be a day of reflection, remembering loved ones who are no longer with us or family members who are far away.

Days like today are a reminder of just how important family, memories and connections are. Whether it's looking through old photographs, sharing stories from years gone by, or simply spending time with those who matter most, these moments are so precious.

To all the fathers we are privileged to care for, thank you for your wisdom, kindness, strength and love you have shared throughout your lives. You have helped shape generations, and today we celebrate you.

🌦️Scottish Weather Strikes Again🤣

So we set off for Tillicoultry Primary School Sports Day, only for the weather to have other ideas and the event was cancelled☔ off to Sterling Warehouse we went for lunch and a little shopping although Cathie had her eye on a new sofa, so "little" might be stretching it 🛋️🤣

Met Amy and baby Millie who joined us for lunch... wee Millie absolutely stole the show 🥰👶 and then met the cutest French Bulldog before finishing off the day with a visit to see Caroline's best pal Linda just outside Stirling. Linda, it was lovely to finally meet you 😊

Sometimes the best days are the ones that don't quite go to plan 💙 !
