Our Foodbank warehouse is currently low in stocks of a number of items. Now is the time for heroes to step up! With every weekly shopping trip, you can make a significant difference. Please consider buying an extra carton of fruit juice to donate to the foodbank—be a crucial support for those in need.

Social value, environmental and social governance (ESG), corporate social responsibility (CSR). Call it what you like, but it's become as important as your bottom line. It's measurable and reportable, and it impacts decisions made by your potential investors, patrons, employees, and customers: all the groups that make your business what it is.

The message is simple. If you don't understand it and embrace social value/ESG/CSR, you WILL be left behind. The great news is, it's easy to do, and it's an investment, not a cost. We are incredibly grateful to Accord and the Trade Union Unit Trust (TUUT) for their continued support of the Farnworth and Kearsley Foodbank for the second consecutive year.

To mark her re-election as Accord President, Carol Knowles kindly presented a cheque for £1,000 to the Farnworth and Kearlsey Foodbank. This generous donation will help us continue supporting individuals and families across our community who are facing hardship.
