Thankyou for the most amazing first week.

Lots of previous from old cafe and new customers arrived, new to our village from far and wide. Friends family and local traders visited.

Over 40 Organic Village breakfasts were eaten and lots of Organic Veggie breakfasts! Plus Organic smoked Salmon with buttered sourdough toast was popular. Together with our Grilled cheese sandwiches - Kimchi or local smoked ham !

Our grab n go/takeaway is growing! And locally produced cakes doing well.

Now we rest and restore as a team ready for next week.

Meet our exceptional local fishmongers and neighbour Veasey & Sons Fishmongers Forest Row just a few doors down from our coffee shop!

We totally sold out of our seemingly popular, irish organic smoked salmon that is Served with buttered organic sourdough toast, cream cheese and salad with Thai Kraut garnish.

We also feature this incredible smoked salmon at times in our deli specials sandwiches!

We will be back open
8-4 Monday, Tuesday.

Seasons Forest Kitchen is a new neighbourhood coffee shop rooted in quality, simplicity, and care - born from the coming together of The Seasons Wholefoods and The Artisan Forest Kitchen.

Serving local micro-roastery coffee from the Pharmacie Cure blend, seasonal breakfasts, quality Sussex breads, Danish pastries, cakes, and thoughtfully made food using organic and locally sourced ingredients.

From grab-and-go mornings to slow village breakfasts, the space has been designed for gathering, connection, and everyday rituals.

Our lovely cafe, The Seasons Kitchen, is now closed.

We started this café with a simple dream: to create a space where food was grown with care, cooked with love, and shared in community.

🌱 Organic, seasonal, biodynamic produce
🧑‍🌾 Sourced from local farmers and growers we know by name
🥕 Surplus ingredients turned into beautiful meals
🤝 Jobs for local people of all ages & backgrounds
💚 And most of all - you - the community who made it all possible

We did everything we believed in. And you showed up for it - day after day.

But in a system that doesn’t support small, values-led businesses, rising costs, rent, and taxes made it impossible to keep going — no matter how hard we tried.

We’re proud of what we built. We’re proud of the ethics we never compromised on. And we’re so, so grateful for you.

This is the end of The Seasons Kitchen - but not the end of the movement for fairer food, rooted in soil and solidarity.

Our two retail shops continue to serve our communities with the same values & nourishing products.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re heartbroken, but proud.
