As you know, we have been closed since January but I kept the page open for any left-over voucher queries and to field any questions. A lovely new bunch of people are about to open in our old space so it’s time to close down and remove this page - but I can’t remember the password to do so! So consider this page unmanned until I manage to delete it.

Hello lovelies. I’ll stop posting on this page soon, but just wanted to give you all the takeaway info as I’m now sorted.

Right then, we finally have our shizz together enough to launch our full graze box takeaway menu. We can feed up to any number, and as in is the new out, it’s the way to go! We will also be launching our picnic menu as the weather warms up, plus there’s Mother’s Day specials just around the corner! DM, email or WhatsApp to order please.

Sorry, something else I’ve remembered! Vouchers!! Lots of you lovelies bought restaurant vouchers before Christmas, and we are so grateful for that. Unless you are coming before Sunday anyway, vouchers can be redeemed through Keren’s Comfort Kitchen or Events Horizon for delivery, takeaway or events. Alternatively drop in and we can refund.

A big thank you to everyone for such lovely warm messages yesterday. They did make us feel as though we had done some good at least.

Our last day open will be this coming Sunday, when we are holding our acoustic cafe afternoon - it was going to be held here from now on but obviously it’ll just be the one event now. But we thought to go out with music was the right thing. So do come along to that if you want to listen or play, or just eat and drink! The music is 1-5, but we’ll spend the evening til 9 pm kissing goodbye to the place so do join us for that if you’d like.

After that, I will be back in my old kitchen on the trading estate doing what I used to do - prepping for events and putting together grazing boxes for collection and delivery. The menus will be pretty similar to the restaurant’s so if you fancy what you had here on the sofa instead, get in touch. Full details will follow on the ’s Comfort Kitchen page as I pull myself back together again.

We are devastated to let you know that as of Sunday 15th January, Home will be no more. We are really sorry that we are having to close, but the pressures on the economy combined with energy costs and high rent bills, neither of which we can reduce, means that there is no way we can continue as a going concern. Obviously we are in the same boat as many other small businesses, but we’ve used up every penny of our personal reserves and banks don’t play with companies that need money at the moment. We hope to see you in another of our guises soon. Love Home 💕

The cinnamon sourdough buns are back!! And we have a little opening times change for you. For the moment we’ll be closed from 5pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We are SO looking forward to kicking off our Acoustic Cafe upstairs at Home this coming Sunday, 15th January. Doors at 1. Free entry. Open mic slots available, and we already have the fabulously mellow Meltones, the joyous Joseph Brown and punk officionado of cool, Carl Sutterby on the list!

We were asked so many times last year about when our hot meals delivery service - Keren’s Comfort Kitchen as was before Home was born - would be restarting, and the answer is …

NOW!!

Well, not literally now, but in the next few days. We’re just finalising some details, then we’ll shout when we’re good to go. It’ll be channelled through Home.in.Frome so we can keep all our info and updates in one place, but we’ll still copy the info over in case we have group members on the kitchen page, for now.

We’ll have set delivery times, takeaway will also be available, and we’re also considering a subscription service.

A huge, massive THANK YOU to everyone who has found a home at Home this last few months. To those who have eaten, drank, hugged, and said warm and fuzzy things, we love you. To those we have let down, we apologise. We are learning, times are bloody tough and we are trying our absolute very best to be all that you want us to be. Mostly we are getting it right. We’ve got a barrel full of fabulous plans, some opening changes, and so much more love to give. And we hope you come along for the ride. See you when we reopen on Thursday 5th 💕
