The result wasn’t what we wanted, but once again you lot absolutely smashed it. A massive thank you to everyone who packed out The Crusader and created another unbelievable atmosphere. You legends certainly know how to turn a football match into a proper night out! ❤️🍺

🚨 Right then you lovely, beautiful people… it’s time to meet your Crusader dream team for tonight’s England match! 🏴⚽🍻

👑 The Boss – Lynn (keeping us all in line… well, trying to! 😜)

💪 Kez – small in size, mighty in personality, and packed full of sass. Approach with coffee… and caution! 😂

😊 The lovely Alyssa – always serving with a smile.

😏 Demi – quick with the banter, even quicker with the comebacks… don’t mess with her! 😉

✨ Our newest superstar, the beautiful Emma – be sure to give her a warm Crusader welcome!

And keeping the glasses moving so you can keep the drinks flowing…

👯‍♀️ Double trouble – Lola & Layla! They’ll be flying around collecting glasses faster than you can order your next pint.

Then tonight, we’ve got the small matter of England 🏴 vs Norway 🇳🇴! Kick-off’s a little later, so it’s adults only this evening, and we’ll be serving all drinks in plastic glasses to keep everyone safe and stay within our licence conditions.

It’s going to be a busy one, so we’ve got our door staff on tonight too. They’re here to help everyone have a safe, cracking night, so please show them—and the rest of Team Crusader—the usual respect and patience while we’re flat out. We promise we’ll keep the pints pouring as fast as we can! 🍺💪

As much as we’d all love to bring our four-legged drinking buddies, today is definitely a day for them to stay at home in the cool.

With temperatures hitting 31°C, pavements are scorching, and dogs simply can’t cope with the heat like we can. They can’t order themselves a nice cold pint or sit under the parasol! 🍺😂

Remember…
🐾 A dog has never complained about missing a walk.
💔 Sadly, far too many dogs suffer from heatstroke every year.

So today, swap the walk for a comfy spot in the shade, plenty of fresh water, maybe a frozen treat, and lots of fuss. They’ll love you for it (especially when it’s cooler later on!).

We’ll keep the cold drinks ready for the humans… and your furry best mate can catch up on their beauty sleep at home. ❤️

Well… we’re all running on coffee today! 😴☕️

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the England match in the early hours this morning. What a cracking crowd! The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, and every single one of you did the Crusader proud. The friendly banter, the singing, the cheering (and the nerve-wracking moments!) made it another one to remember.

A special thank you as well for the chocolates… they certainly didn’t last long! 🍫😂

Now, while the team might be in desperate need of a power nap, there’s no rest for us! We’re already getting everything ready for Saturday night, when England take on Norway. If this morning’s match is anything to go by, we’d recommend bringing your lucky shirt, your loudest voice and maybe a stress ball! 🤣⚽️

A quick heads-up for Saturday…

🍻 We’ll be serving all drinks in plastic glasses, both inside and outside the Crusader.

This isn’t us trying to spoil anyone’s pint! It’s to help us keep everyone safe, comply with our licensing conditions, and make sure we can serve you all as quickly as possible. With the weather looking like a scorcher at around 25°C ☀️ and another huge crowd expected, it’s the best way to keep the drinks flowing and everyone enjoying the match.

Let’s make it another unforgettable England night with the same amazing atmosphere, plenty of laughs, great banter and support for the lads. You’ve all helped make the last five England games something special—let’s do it all again on Saturday!

‼️All wristbands are now gone!!!‼️

For those that managed to get one please make sure you don’t lose them as no entry will be given past 11pm unless you have it.

Anyone that doesn’t have a wristband will unfortunately need to leave at 11pm also so we can ensure we keep to our capacity limit.

🍻⚽ ENGLAND v MEXICO UPDATE! ⚽🍻

Well… after all the “Will it? Won’t it?” drama (and enough weather watching to make us all amateur meteorologists 🌩️), the England v Mexico match IS GOING AHEAD as planned on Monday at 1:00am. Thunderstorms? Bring ’em on! 🍺

That means we’re back to WRISTBANDS ONLY from 11:00pm on Sunday night.

🚫 No wristband = no entry. Don’t try your best puppy dog eyes at the door… it won’t work! 😂

🎟️ Wristbands are available from the bar NOW – just grab Lynn or Kez before they disappear behind the pumps.

A couple of reminders:
🍺 Inside drinking only
👥 Reduced capacity, so once we’re full, we’re full.
🧒 No under 18s past 9pm as normal

Don’t leave it until the last minute, unless you enjoy disappointment and standing outside listening to everyone else cheer! 😆

See you Sunday night for another cracking atmosphere.
