If you're not sure we're worth it, the first 14" New York cheese pizza is on me. Why? Because people come back to The Towpath Inn for the pizza, so we give the first one free. Comment "Free Pizza" for all the details.

Tomorrow's newsletter is a bit of a rollercoaster.

There's a story in there I've been sitting on for weeks — involving a £6,500 bill, a meter that was never installed properly, and the reason I still don't have the new pizza oven and fryer I'd planned to have running before summer. It's been... an education.

But it's not all doom. There's some properly good news in there too. Two words: new desserts. And a few more words about what's back on the drinks list that a lot of you have been asking about.

If you're on the mailing list, keep an eye on your inbox tomorrow morning. If you're not — we don't have a straight sign-up for that yet, but here's the workaround: grab the free 14" cheese pizza (link in the comments) and you're straight on the list for tomorrow's email too.

See you in the Dough-jo.

This Father's Day — dads drink free.

Here's how it works.

Make a booking, spend £50 on pizza and dad drinks free all session.
Felinfoel Stout, Detroit IPA, or our new Welsh l***r.

One at a time.
As many as the afternoon allows, responsibly.

Picture it.
Canal tables out.

Sun out.
Proper pizza.

Cold pint.
No one's cooking.

No one's washing up.
Just a decent afternoon with the people that matter.

That's what Sunday 21st June looks like at the Towpath.

Space is tight — we've got a handful of tables inside and out, pre-booking only.
When they're gone, they're gone.

Haven't been before?

We just launched a new website.

Most pub websites have a menu, some photos, an opening hours page, and a book a table button.

Ours gives away a free pizza.

Right there. On the homepage. No catch. No hidden commitment. Just - here's a free pizza, come and find out if we're the place you've been looking for.

That's not an accident. It's the whole point.

We built the website the same way we built the pub. Around the person who's been let down before.
Who wants somewhere worth going to but doesn't want to gamble their Friday night on it.

The free pizza answers that. Not a discount. Not a voucher code for 10% off.
A free pizza. Dine in. Come and decide for yourself.

There's also the full story on there.
Why we only do two pizzas.

Where the Detroit came from.
Why the pub pizza is the one we're most quietly confident about right now.

Worth five minutes of your time if you want to know what this place is actually about.

Link in bio.
Or just comment FREE PIZZA and I'll send you the details directly.
