My name is Marina and I’m baker/cake decorator based in Southside of Glasgow, Scotland.

I started baking just as a hobby but with time it became more of a passion for me. Since then I've graduated from Glasgow City of College with NC Bakery, HNC Patisserie, HND Professional Cookery. I also have Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate. All my cake are freshly made from scratch. Each of the cakes is individually priced depending on its size, flavour and decorations required. A non-refund

able deposit of £15 has to be made in order to secure your cake booking. Please order your cake at least two weeks in advance. At the moment COLLECTIONS ONLY.

And honestly – 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚. 💖

As someone who didn't grow up in the UK, I didn't get to experience this kind of treat in my own childhood...

So, the fact that I can now bake it and 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 through something as simple as a slice of cake – that means the world to me. ✨

When my cake reminds you of school days, grandma's kitchen, or those classic lunch trays – 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙄'𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 😁

For me? Sticky toffee cake actually reminds me of my gran's Piernik (Gingerbread Cake) – though hers wasn't nearly as strong on the ginger as the one I make for the stall (that one's a bit much even for me 😆)

Different cake, different ingredients... but somehow, 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜. 🥰

𝙋𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝘾𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙆𝙀𝙎 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙁𝙀𝘾𝙏 😁

When I first tried making this bake, I had 𝙣𝙤 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙚 what blondies were supposed to look like… or taste like 😅

I just came across a recipe and thought:
"This looks good… why not give it a try?" 😁

Let’s just say my first attempt was… interesting.
It was more like a sponge cake than a blondie…
and all the raspberries sank straight to the bottom— 𝙊𝙃 𝘽𝙊𝙔 🙈🤣

But even though it looked 𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 like it was supposed to, the taste was actually lovely — I even brought it to Barras to let the other traders try it, and they all said the same 💕

After that I kept practising and tweaking until I finally got it right — and now this White Chocolate & Raspberry Blondie is one of my 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩-𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 flavours at and one of my favourites to bake too 🧁✨
