There’s a version of a good evening that doesn’t need much. A table by the window, someone across from you, and enough time to actually talk instead of rushing through the meal.

That’s what we had in mind with the Value Menu at Zaika Taal in Glasgow city centre. A starter, a main, and a side, all freshly prepared, all built around the dishes people keep coming back for. £14.50 for a proper meal, nothing stripped back about it.

Some nights don’t need to be complicated to be memorable. This is one of those.
