We're ready to go for tomorrow's big England match against Croatia.

We have an extended license so can show the game in our beer garden (please show respect to our neighbours with no singing or chanting!), with 2 screens outside. We aren't taking reservations so first come, first served.

As ever feel free to bring or order in food if you fancy a bite.

Beer starts at £4.50 a pint of Carlsberg!

Support your independent local and see you at the Row tomorrow at 9pm for the start of England's World Cup campaign.

More good news after a tough couple of weeks – the council have confirmed we can show the first two 9pm England World Cup games (Croatia, 17th & Ghana, 23rd) in our beer garden!

Please respect our neighbours with no singing and we don’t do reservations, it’ll be on a first come first served.

Join us tonight for the World Cup opening ceremony and the first game, Mexico vs South Africa.

Freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Full access returns to Mead Row, making a rainy day feel like a sunny one.

Many thanks to all our customers, particularly our regulars, who have made the effort to navigate their way around the roadworks. No more noise, difficult deliveries or stressed landlords.

Yes, we are open! Despite traffic and roadwork chaos the pub is open as usual from noon to 11ish (8pm on a Sunday), plenty of parking is still available at the large council car park next door and parking is free from 6.30pm.

Unlike most pubs we are locally owned, managed and not part of a large brewery group, and that is reflected in our prices, but we really need support few weeks as we go through a tough trading period in the next few weeks due to no fault of our own, and with little hope of compensation.

As ever, use, or lose, your local!
