Lets talk about food at the Summer Fete tomorrow (Sunday 12th July). We have a fantastic BBQ with special thanks to James Kittow Butcher & Grazier & Caterfood for helping with the costs.

We also have Ice Creams & Ice Pops available courtesy of Roskillys who donated ice cream tubs.

And our villagers have been hard at work baking up a storm for the cake sale and a special Carrot cake being donated by The Quay Bakery

So there is plenty for people to fill their tummies whilst enjoying all the festivities on offer.

Plus we have lots of cold and warm drinks to keep people refreshed. With thanks to
For donating lots of bottles of water.

Its due to be a hot one folks so please bring water with you and plenty of Suncream.

Although dogs are very welcome we would strongly recommend leaving your four legged friends at home where it will be a bit cooler than out in the blazing sun.

Only a few days until Golant's Great Charity Fete on Sunday 12th July and here is the newest game for you. Tiger Woods would enjoy this one as we open Golant's 1st Crazzi Golf course. The two hole course will be there on Sunday for young and old alike to have a go.

Also if you can get a hole in one on both holes, your name will go into a draw for a fantastic Prize.

So grab your suncream and a wide brimmed hat and head on down to Golant on Sunday 12th July to join in in the fundraising fun.

We are getter so excited about Golant's Great Charity Fete on Sunday 12th July (this coming Sunday!!!!!)

Some of the fantastic things on offer include:
- The barrow of Booze Raffle (barrow not included)
- Co****le Tournament (with thanks to for the use of their co****le board)
- A classic Coconut Shy (with thanks to WestCountry Foodservice for helping with the coconuts)
- The Human Fruit Machine plus much more

Encounter C will be doing kayak experiences from 2pm so you can get a proper taste of pur community

With little over 2 weeks until Golant's Great Charity Fete its time to start sharing some of the things that will be there on 12th July.

We are very excited that will be attending with their own stall for raise money and awareness for this brilliant local Charity. Alongside raising money for and RNLI -

Also Rainbow Gecko - Face Painting and Bubbles will be there with their wonderful display of bubble magic for all to enjoy.

So between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday 12th July, Golant is the place to be for fun and fundraising.

Tomorrow night the 2beats will be here giving us and fantastic night and it will be great and we hope you will all join us.

Here we go folks, the beer festival is open and the pints and flights are already starting to flow. The BBQ is warming up and are en route.

Selling well already is Riff IPA. A lip-smackingly refreshing beer from Devon.

Also Bonville Pale Ale which is a delightful pale ale with gentle bitterness.

In the Ciders we have Dandy Dab a beautiful cider made totally from Dabinett apples.

If your still standing on Monday, we have the perfect finish to the Bank Holiday weekend when will be here from 3pm with his classic chilled out vibes pergect for beers, ciders and Gin in the sun.

We are getting the beers settled for the this weekend, and whilst we take a breather we thought its the perfect time to update the beer lost so here we go.

First are two from one of our favourite Devon Breweries in Plymouth

We have First Light, a seriously strong summer ale that is almost orange in colour and with notes of toffee and orange sherbert

Then we have Whistle Belly Venegence - this dark Ruby Ale is packed with Malty Character and finishes with a liquorice note

Ciders we have another Purbeck Cider company with Pirate - a bittersweet medium cider named after a sheep who lost an eye to somr crows

And - Wildberries - Bursting with Hedgerow flavours.

For entertainment, on Sunday afternoon (about 3pmish) we have the fantastic singing a host of shanties snd cornish songs.

Thats another load of great reaaons to visit us at Tge Fisherman's Arms this bank Holiday weekend.

The next bit of information for you. And today wevare looking at the furthers and closest beer on the list.

The furthest is Orkney Brewery - Man 'O' Hoy - a 4.2% Golden Ale packed with the scent of summer fruits, hints of citrusbsbd a bitter sweet finish.

The closest is which is just 6 miles from the pub with Restormal Gold a rich Golden IPA with justva hint of Oranges.

The Cider company we wanted to really show off this year is Purbeck Cider so we habe 3 from them and we are starting with the Strongest with Muddy Scamp - a medium dry cider that will tease you like a spaniel with a ball.

For Entertainment, on Friday noght the fantastic playing a mix of classics from the 60's, 70's and 80's

So thats even more reason to hit the festival this year. Dont miss out.
