Tree Top Café – Kitchen & Counter Assistant
📍 Vogrie Country Park, Gorebridge, EH23 4NU
☕️ Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the cafe / hospitality industry

Tree Top Café is looking for friendly and hardworking people to join our team! We’re a busy, family-friendly café in the heart of Vogrie Country Park, serving homemade scones, cakes, fresh salads, sandwiches, hot food, and Brodies coffee from Musselburgh. As a Visit Scotland graded tourist attraction, we pride ourselves on giving every visitor a 5-star experience.

We currently have a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) available. Weekend work is essential.
Café opening hours: 7 days a week, 9am – 5pm.

Kitchen Assistant Duties:
• Help prepare and make food quickly and consistently when orders come into the kitchen
• Support with kitchen prep
• Wash dishes / KP duties
• Run food to tables

Counter Assistant Duties:
• Serve customers at the counter
• Clear and clean tables
• Restock fridges, display cabinets, and cake displays
• Keep the café area clean and tidy
• Wash dishes in the kitchen
• Complete daily cleaning tasks

What We’re Looking For:
• Someone reliable, friendly, and willing to learn
• A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and customer service
