Patrick Dyer Wolf is NJ-born/raised/proud/adjacent, living in NYC via sunny North Carolina and foggy San Francisco, the latter being the home base of his mates in the Americana/Rock outfit Goodnight, Texas. Patrick's gentle but commanding solo set draws on years of his own mostly unreleased material and includes songs from Goodnight Texas's 2012 debut A Long Life of Living and the band's forthcoming sophomore LP. A longtime student of Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith, and the Tallest Man on Earth, he is wont to turn a lyrical cliche on its head atop a winding melody, plucking at guitar strings like a contemplative spider who might be either drowsy or excited.
