Right folks based upon the power of the Internet it advises that 24 degree and above heat is too risky for dog walking,

This being found out using google and also the heatwave that is on its way this week means we will once again put our hot weather rules in place this week

Please leave your dogs at home in this heatwave we will not serve customers that bring their dog out on exceptionally hot days this is forecast until Sunday 12th July

Please be patient with staff If they are on a hydration break, it can get exceptionally hot in the cafe so sometimes a quick pause on service for staff to have 10mins is needed

We consider all our customers and doggy customers in any decisions made as we always wish to keep everyone of you safe and happy.

If you are out walking or come and visit us in this lovely sunny weather wear plenty of sun cream and stay safe everyone.

Well the temperature is extreme in the kitchen and the size of it makes working in it extra hard for Maria.

Our business hours will remain the same however we do need to change some things for this week while this lovely heatwave continues for the saftey of our staff.

HOT FOOD WILL NOT BE SERVED AFTER 1PM

PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF SERVICE IS PAUSED FOR STAFF TO GRAB AN EXTRA BREAK

PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF YOU ARE REFUSED SERVICE IF YOU TURN UP WITH A DOG, NO DOG SHOULD BE OUT IN THIS HEAT IN THE HOURS WE ARE OPEN

He's gonna hate this but credit where its due this lad absolutely made me so proud today. Through exceptional numbers of customers, to the mountain of dishes and even bearing with the heat not once did this lad moan or grumble his head went down and he got on with his job even though the poor lad was saturated with the heat.

Corey what a pleasure it was to have you alongside me today to see that shy,quiet lad dealing with loads of orders and even taking our big booking orders without a problem, you ain't half come a long way kid hold your head high mate your a proper grafter 👍💪

Well now were all cleaned away its time or me and the heart of Maria's to chill with the wine and bailey's.

Simba has been found he had followed a couple of customers and got lost in the estate the other side of benetts Lane.

Thanks to the power of Facebook we have got him home pretty handy an he can rest now hopefully put off any more adventures

Folks iv got up this morning and unfortunately Maria feels like absoulte crap, tossing and turning all night, coughing and headaches, so with her being the only cook she needs to be at 100 per cent health wise to work in the kitchen.

This has forced us to close today we are really sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately there is only the two of us that run the cafe and one cant work without the other

Missing Missing Missing

If anyone locally sees our "fat lad" aka "simba" could you please get in touch with us.

He was seen following a walking group down to the last field on the farm where the cafe is but there has been no sign of him since and this is totally unlike him,

We are posting this as it is completely out of character and worry is setting in now there has been no sign.

Simba is microchiped and also has a unique love heart marking on both back legs so can easily be identified by us.

He is loved by many customers for his cheekiness so we really hope he finds his way home if hes ventured near the roads
