If you missed John at his recent exhibition at Watts Gallery, here’s your chance to see his incredible talent in the cafe gallery. The composition, detail and colours in these local landscape scenes is stunning. If you want a well captured scene of Reigate, Leith Hill, Denbies, Compton, Blackheath and more, these are well worth a look. The lightweight dibond is a perfect medium for these that avoids glare and is easy to hang in your space. Come see.

Oof it is looking like a scorcher this week. No small business can afford a disruption like this however the safety of my team comes first. We will be closing the shop early Tuesday-Thursday this week unless miraculously the weather forecasters are wrong.

Stop 4 of 2026 Surrey Artists Open Studios SAOS

The final stop today was a trek over to the in Walton on Thames to see this collection in a really lovely light filled space.

I wanted to see the captivating work by Shilpa Shilpa Shenoy | Mandala and Fluid Art in person as she had caught my attention with her incredible mandala designs and I was not disappointed. These are unbelievable in details considering she does them by hand with perfect colour combinations. Who needs a Spirograph with her talent… go see

While there I met with Karen Osborne, Contemporary Artist, Surrey, UK and Margie Haslewood Art and loved their spirit and passion in the exploration of what art means to the creator and the joy of letting go and letting the art guide you. Flamigeons are the best thing ever!

I have followed The Ottershaw Potter and was glad to get to see their work in person as well. Her Chinese Horses and other raku fill you with Earth joy!

Stop 3 of 2026 Surrey Artists Open Studios SAOS

Admittedly we did this stop to go see the latest from Dawn Thornhill - Paper Artist as we love her light boxes and because we are mildly (ok massively) obsessed with the silk woven textile work by but now we are totally in love with their co-artists in a wonderfully compatible collection of very different mediums that work oh so well together.

Did I mention Keira? Oh to see these in person … a must stop. Absolutely stunning. Just go.

was an incredibly gracious host sharing their love of all the artists but humbly showing her own exceptional detail and intricate designs in silver that will captivate any jewellery enthusiasts. I personally loved the agate with the antique leaf she has attached in a pendant - look for it!

Laura Ritchie Artist still life paintings are an absolute joy. Well framed and the perfect size for any space constrained home that needs a punch of colour and life. Loved them all.

Julie aka Puffin Jools has some really fun and whimsical glass and sculpture pieces - the owl and mouse were a fave! Every garden or window needs one of these.

Finally I am always drawn in by texture in ceramics and wow does Julie Mellor Patton have this mastered. If you love the combination of ceramics, glass and sculpture she is the one for you. Really loved these. Indoor or in the garden there are many to be inspired by.
