Merrist Wood Golf Club is nestled in a secluded spot in the Surrey countryside where you will find a golfing experience like no other, located just outside Guildford, 5 minutes from the A3, 20 minutes from the M3 and 25 minutes from the M25. The David Williams designed golf course was awarded a silver grading in the HSBC Regional Course guide which is a great indicator to our course quality and fr

om the Championship tees it is one of the longest in the South of England. Our par 72 championship course offers you an escape away from daily life, spread over 250 acres of beautiful parkland un-spoilt by roads or houses. The course is surrounded by tall oak trees and a winding stream that meanders through the course with lakes coming into play on 5 holes. This former Tour event venue offers players of all standards a challenging but rewarding course which can be enjoyed by everyone. Our clubhouse and banqueting facility is designed in a contemporary open plan style with emphasis on comfort and elegance for up to 250 guests. The large air conditioned clubhouse offers stunning views of both the countryside and our golf course boasting a large patio area for al fresco dining. If you are looking to make a friend or relative a happier golfer or thinking of a way to get a new golfer started in the right way, I have a host of packages & programmes available, for both Adults & Juniors, as a Christmas Gift.

They can all be purchased online at merristwood.glfconnect.com/store or by calling me on 07504 289083. A voucher will then be sent, that can be given as a Christmas Gift, leaving the recipient to book the lessons by diary appointment, at their convenience.
