we’ve made something a bit different this week. 🍪

it’s a cookie stuffed with biscoff and that crispy shredded pastry you see in dubai-style chocolate (we’re still not 100% on what it’s officially called, kataifi/kunafa vibes). 😋

either way, we’ve mixed it with biscoff and packed it right into the middle of a cookie, it’s crunchy, gooey, and honestly really good.

happy monday from us, 👋 it’s going to be a hot one this week so look after yourselves, we’ve got ice drinks, cold bits, and a lovely breeze coming through the café if you need a break from it all. 🧊 ☕️ ☀️

also, if yesterday’s football result has left you feeling a bit wrecked, either from a long night, a hangover, or just needing a bit of sugar, we’ve got you. 🫶

we’ve not posted in a little while, we’ve been wrapped up with a lot behind the scenes trying to keep everything flowing, but we’re back with this one. 👋

A little note about the July closure 💚

Plant Faced is a small team and behind every coffee, breakfast and slice of cake are real people with lives outside of work too.

That weekend ended up being one where everyone had something meaningful planned, birthdays, family time, seeing friends, hobbies and things that refill our cups.

Tash is celebrating turning 21 🎉
Paige has a friend coming to stay 🫶
Dad is off for a Reiki-filled Sunday ✨
Harriet is (hopefully!) heading to Lazy Days Festival 🎶
Lauren is away making memories with family 💛

So instead of trying to stretch ourselves thin, we decided to close and give everyone the time.

Because we believe looking after our team matters just as much as looking after our customers.

BUT… you can still get your Plant Faced fix 🌱

We’ll still be at LOS Farmers’ Market on the Saturday with cakes, bakes and all the usual goodness, so if you fancy a little Plant Faced stop, come and see us there 💚
