Why don’t we serve coffee extra hot as standard? ☕
We’re always happy to make your coffee extra hot if that’s how you enjoy it.
However, there’s a reason we serve our coffee at a slightly lower temperature by default. When milk is overheated, it loses much of its natural sweetness and silky texture, making it harder for the coffee’s flavour and aroma to shine through.
At Moody’s, we carefully source high-quality coffee because we believe great coffee deserves to be prepared in a way that lets you experience it at its best. Good coffee isn’t cheap, and cheap coffee isn’t good.
If you usually order an extra hot latte, why not try a regular-temperature traditional cappuccino? The balance of espresso, steamed milk and foam allows more of the coffee’s natural character to come through.
Of course, if you still prefer your coffee extra hot, just let us know. We’ll always make it the way you like it. ❤️☕
