Kick-off is at 10pm. Out of respect for our neighbours, we won't be showing the match outside. The good news? You'll be able to enjoy the game in the comfort of our air-conditioned dining room, perfect for escaping the heat.

Matching Green Classic and Sports Car Show

Come and feast your eyes on some beautiful motor cars. A fantastic car show set on the Cricket Green, always a very large turn out of classic cars, trucks, bikes, military, commercials, customs, hot-rod and all that goes with it. An enjoyable day out for all the family. The Car Shows starts at 11am and finishes at 4.30pm.

A table reservation is required if you wish to dine at The Chequers. Our special individually priced Car Show menu will be available on the day. Book online: www.thechequersmatchinggreen.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE: To help improve the flow of visitors throughout the day, our main entrance will be relocated to the side of The Chequers, with direct access from the car park. The indoor bar will be reserved for guests with a table booking at The Chequers. Visitors attending the car show can enjoy refreshments from our outdoor bar between 10am and 4.30pm, located at the front of The Chequers, while toilet facilities will be available in the main car park. Our team will be on hand throughout the day, alongside clear signage, to assist with parking, directions, and any general enquiries.
