Soooooo after receiving and email from torridge licensing earlier with the bumdeal news that an extension of license would not happen for the footy Monday there were some options.

The showing of the game could go ahead but without the sale of refreshments or food I then spent an hour on hold to see whether we could show the game and just let everyone bring their own booze so at least we were together for the game but no one picked up!

2 hours later the government has come up trumps and made a u turn and we are now able to show the game as planned with a 5am curfew.

Pizza available till midnight thanks to your soon to be landlady so get in early to get a seat and have your supper.

All I ask is when we leave please respect the fact there's neighbours and it's going to be late/early!

Well we have only gone and done it and got through to the knockouts!

Tomorrow's game kicks off at a very sensible time of 5pm so if you're going to only just make it due to work never fear, we have your foody needs covered.

Our kitchen will open at the earlier time of 5 and as its better time of day it only seem right to bring back the classic footy meal deal.

Chicken chunks or footlong sausage basket meal with a pint for just £12.

Our full menu will also be available from 5 until 8.30

See you for the game and soke scran.
